Examination and analysis of four key Coles Synergy Customer template reports which explore product performance in loyalty, exclusivity, repeat, and interaction.

This session explores questions such as the following:

  • How can I identify the customer and visit purchase overlap between two brands, SKUs, categories, etc?
  • What proportion of a product’s buyers also bought another specific product?
  • How loyal are customers to my product or brand, compared with the competitive set?
  • Are my new/lost customers being attracted to or leaving the store, category, or segment entirely?

In answering these questions and others like them, the following Coles Synergy platform capability outcomes will be addressed:

  • Access the range of pre-built reports via the Library
  • Group reports to create a ‘story’
  • Use of the Product 2/3 dimensions in pre-existing reports
  • Selection of an appropriate Universe (regarding Product), where applicable
  • Hierarchy navigation and dimension member selection
  • Execution and interpretation of four key Customer data reports in Coles Synergy, with a focus on substitutability, exclusivity, and purchase overlap
  • Use of Measure filters on reports

The following four reports are explored within this session:

  • Product 2-Way Venn Diagram
  • Product Interaction Matrix
  • New To / Lost To
  • Product Loyalty & Exclusivity

Prerequisites

It is highly recommended that those unfamiliar with Coles Synergy Customer data first do one of the following prior to booking in for this training session:

  1. Attend a live session of Coles Synergy Customer Platform Overview, or;
  2. Review the recorded, on-demand content item for Coles Synergy Customer Platform Overview. 

Target Audience

To be eligible for this training, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be employed by a manufacturer/supplier which subscribes to Coles Synergy Customer data, and;
  • Hold a licence in your own name.

It is with regret that any registrants who do not fulfil both of the above conditions will be deregistered from the session shortly prior to commencement. If you are unsure of your licence status, please reach out to the Data Agency team.
